• Under the HSMP arrangements, initial applications may be approved for a period of 2 years. Towards the end of this period, you will be able to extend the permission to stay for an additional 3 years. Apply for HSMP Renewal
  
  
• Applicants who have successfully completed an MBA on the list of eligible programmes qualify under the MBA Provision under HSMP
  
  Note: They will, however, also have to satisfy the English language requirement
  
  
• The Highly Skilled Migrant Programme is different from the work permit arrangements because you do not need a specific job offer in the UK to apply
