- Foreign sole representatives, overseas government employee, minister of religion, missionary or member of a religious order, member of the operational ground staff of an overseas owned airline who have spent a continuous period of 5 years in the United Kingdom in this capacity and are still required for the employment in question, as certified by the employer
- Foreign domestic worker in a private household and private servants in a diplomatic household who have spent a continuous period of 5 years in the United Kingdom in this capacity and are still required for the employment in question, as certified by the employer
