Commonwealth citizens who are also British Citizens by their birth, adoption or registration
- Commonwealth citizens legally adopted before 01/01/83 by a parent born in the UK
- Commonwealth citizens who had the Right of Abode on 01/01/83 and became British Citizens by virtue of five years continuous residence, free of conditions, in the UK prior to 01/01/83
- Commonwealth women who, prior to 01/01/83, had at any time been married to a man who has the right of abode in the UK
- Commonwealth citizens descended from a mother born in Southern Ireland or legitimately descended from a father born in Southern Ireland before 31/03/22
